UES Department and Global UCF project take home LEEDership Awards

The University of Central Florida was privileged to be presented with two awards on Saturday, March 4th, during the USGBC Central Florida Region 2017 LEEDership Awards. The Department of Utilities and Energy Services was honored with being recognized as this year’s Public Organization Outstanding Green Business. The university was again honored with the Global UCF building project being awarded LEED for New Construction Most Outstanding Project of the year.

“The annual awards dinner, now in its fourth year, recognizes and honors the outstanding green building projects, forward-thinking businesses, innovative design teams, and instrumental Region members and volunteers who have displayed green building and sustainable development leadership in the greater Central Florida area.”
